Blending of Two Mediums

Glass Garden Flowers - 3D
Here is a fun new specialty class in making 3D yard art using plates, bowls, knobs, etc. that have been scavenged by your cupboards and/or thrift shops. Kathy our guest instructor will show you how over two days how to create 3 different sizes of flowers to go on the fence or on stakes in the garden. On the first day you'll meet at the shop to discuss the process and then you'll meet her at a close by thrift shop to get a good feel for what to look for and gather. The second day is putting them all together. Students are responsible for plates, bowls, knobs, etc., Kathy will supply all the stakes, hangers, adhesive, etc. She will also bring a few bits and bobs available through her the day of class. Bring and items you already have to the first date so she can advise what you may still require. No experience required. For ages 18+. Please advise if you have any mobility issues. Mosaic Table
Want to learn how to do glass on glass mosaics? This is a great class on how to do mosaics, we will teach you how to do it all, cut glass, nip glass, glue and grout. Come with an idea for your table or have a look at some of the many books we have for inspiration. This is a 2 part class on the class day you will work on your project and take any that needs to be finished for homework. The second part is grouting, you will call and arrange a grout time for you and the instructor. Students will need a pair of mosaic nippers available at Mukluks. No experience required. For ages 12+.
